In this class you’ll learn how to prepare for an interview, what types of questions to ask, what to keep in mind during the interview, and common mistakes to avoid.
Instructor Bio: Committed to amplifying the wonders of Black culture, Lissa Jones created and hosted the weekly public affairs show, ‘Urban Agenda’ on KMOJ Radio for 15 years. A lover of the interview, Lissa continues her work in voice media as the Host of ‘Black Market Reads’, now in Season 8. For the smart and free thinking, Black Market Reads celebrates the contributions of Black authors to the literary canon. Lissa is Chair of the University of Minnesota Friends of the Libraries and serves on the board of the Hennepin County Friends of the Libraries.
