About the Event

Class Title: Audio recording basics

Instructor: Veronica Rodriguez

So you want to interview people, but you can’t afford expensive recording equipment? No problem! This class will guide you through what’s possible with your smartphone or other mobile device to get the best quality recording you can with what you have. We'll talk about what to do with the audio once you've recorded, including different means of sharing to another device or to someone else. If you're inspired to do more, we'll also take a look at some simple investments that will make your audio sound even better.

Instructor Bio: Veronica Rodriguez has been an audio professional for 13+ years with experience in music, sports, broadcast journalism and podcasting as both an audio engineer and technical director. She has worked with iHeart Media radio stations in the Twin Cities as well as the Minnesota Vikings, MPR, Lemonada Media and Gimlet at Spotify.
